U S A M a d e! Offered for your consideration is a Brand New Wilton 4" Machinist "Bullet Bench Vise w/Swivel Base, Model 400S. If you're not familiar with the Wilton Machinist line of vises, their bullet design is different (and better) than all other vises. It's been around since 1941 with various upgrades along the way. Unlike other vises, the spindle screw is completely protected 360 degrees for it's entire length by the round cast iron tube of the moveable jaw. Benefits are 1 the spindle screw is completely protected from debris, weld splatter, impacts, etc. And 2 smooth operation without play. Has the classic Wilton double lockdown clamps for the swivel base. Underneath the base is a ring gear with teeth that ensures no slippage. This vise has never been mounted and the grease on the tube is still fresh. The 4" size is a good "just right size...

Not so big that it takes up all of your bench top, but still big enough to tackle big jobs.... The 4 is still a substantial heavy duty vise weighing in at around 65 lbs.
