Rare Vintage Wilton 3 inch Vise Patent Pending No. 3 , Chicago, Early 1940s Swivel Base. There is no date on this vise that I can find. Please rely on your own expertise on those historical details. The vise opens to about 4 3/4 as shown.

The width on the jaws is 3 inches. This one still has much of the original green paint.

I have shown photos with and without flash to show the paint and other details. There are some white paint splatters on top that can be seen in photos. Please view all photos as they are part of the description. This belongs to an 88 year old gentleman who had this as part of his woodworking and metalworking shop. He is in poor health and giving up most of his workshop.

He used this for many years. It opens and closes easily and I see no damage. Again, please view photos carefully since you might be looking for something I did not see. I have not cleaned it up except to wipe it down a bit but it looks pretty good as is.
