Vintage Wilton 4Jaw 9400 Bullet Shop Machinist Bench Vise with Swivel Base 1957

This is a finely restored Wilton 9400 vise featuring 4 jaws. This vise was manufactured in 1957 with a guarantee date of June 30, 1962. The vise was completely disassembled and gone through. The body was primed and painted Wilton gray. All the exposed metal was cleaned, stripped and polished. The jaw was lubricated for an easy turning experience. The vise did work very hard before it was gone through. Evidence of this can still be seen throughout the body. It has hammer marks, the jaws have some missing corners, the handles are pitted. The anvil has a dished surface from hammering. While all these aesthetic flaws are present, they no way impair the operation of the vise.
