You are looking at a Super Rare Rock Island Automatic No. This vise weighs about 37 lbs. Vise was repainted by me, two very light coats of satin epoxy. The cylindrical nut in the base clamps with the cylindrical base when the handle is tightened to lock swivel motion, thereby earning the name "Automatic". You won't be seeing another of these for a while.
