This is an old Prentiss Bull Dog No. 263 Bench Vise with 3 inch factory smooth jaws and a swivel base.

The vise weighs approximately 27 lbs. This vise was made in Meriden, CT.

The vise has been primed and painted by the previous owner but the wear marks give it a neat patina. The vise is in excellent shape for its age with only a few nics/bumps from average use. The vise functions smooth and there are no missing parts. I did a quick wire wheel job on the slide and jaws to remove the paint as well as a quick cleaning.

I coated it with air tool oil to prevent surface rust from forming and to help it operate even smoother. Vise is solid and would outlast any made today. Would be a great collection piece or would be ready for another 50 years of abuse. Feel free to message me with any questions or request more pictures of the vise.
