Vise, 4-1/2, unmarked, except base(74C) swivel baseNICE. There is little doubt this is a Rock Island.

But Not sure why the body was not marked. Finish appears to be original japan black. Does not appear to have been ground off.

There is a stamped ID #. Is is beefier than a 574. Not sure what the correct vise# is. Every once in a while I come across a vise that is original & clean.

I don't like to part. Out vises that are this decent.
